It has been a while since my last blog, I know it’s no excuse but I have been busy getting ready for my final exams in high school. I bet you didn’t know that Young Canadians offers us tutoring for our second semester classes. It’s true, we learn from some very talented individuals who are going to a variety of Universities across Canada, or who have already graduated. What’s also great is that our teachers are all YC alumni. I was in the cast with my tutor Joey (who goes to McGill) for one year of Senior Singers, and was an apprentice when Jason (soon to have his PHD) was a Senior. These are the teachers I have worked with. So, I am learning from people who are getting a degree, meet previous cast members once a week, get the help I need in school, oh yeah did I mention its all for FREE! Just another useful experience we get through the Young Canadians program.
