Winefest, World of Wheels, and Monster Jam highlight the week ahead at Stampede Park. Details on these events and more after the jump.
- Winefest is an all inclusive event, offering you the chance to sample from hundreds of international wines and a selection of port, sparkling and dessert wines, along with delicious hors d’oeuvres. BMO Centre, Palomino Room, February 18-20. Ticket information is available here.
- World of Wheels is Calgary’s premier hot rod and custom car show. See some of the top cars on the circuit with special guest appearances from TV’s Henry Winkler, UFC’s Rich Franklin, and Brenda Song from TV’s “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.” BMO Centre, February 19-21. - Love Monster Trucks? Then Monster Jam is for you! All Monster Jam events include monster truck racing and freestyle competition as well as other elements such as: Thrill acts, Quad Wars, Pro Stadium/Arena Truck competition and other motor sports elements. Pengrowth Saddledome, February 20-21. Specific details on the Calgary show can be found here.
- The WHL’s Calgary Hitmen play twice this week at the Saddledome. First, they face off against the Brandon Wheat Kings on Monday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. followed by the Prince George Cougars on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. Tickets for both games are available through Ticketmaster.
