Howdy Rodeo Fans!!
Horses are shedding, the snow has finally melted, the crops are being seeded and the stampede banners are up across the city.  The countdown has started and with only 39 days until the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth; Kerri, Kateri, Nikkole and I are busier than ever!
After rodeoing-it-up with Miss Rodeo Okotoks Nicole Westersund at the Sr. Pro Rodeo in High River, we attended our first Calgary pancake breakfast for the Stampede Lotteries, ran 5km for Lupus in honor of our makeup sponsor Aria Studios (phew! I’m still sore… Anyone who knows me knows I swim and ride horses, I NEVER run!!), dropped the puck at a Roughnecks game along side of Mark and Kelly Sutherland, joined the Red Hatters for their soiree (what a fun night – I can’t wait to turn 50!!), and played with city kids at the plaza for Child Find Alberta’s International Missing Children’s Day.
You can come help us celebrate the western spirit next at the Millerville Rodeo this weekend, rain or shine.   Good Luck also, to all the 4H’ers this weekend as they compete at 4H on Parade!  GO Okotoks Outriders!!

May Madness!

First off, I want to wish a Happy Mothers Day!  We got to help hundreds of people with gift ideas at The Bay, showing off the newest and hottest perfume lines!  That same day, we helped with the ceremonial ball drop at the Calgary Roughnecks game for western night with Kelly and Mark Sutherland, two cowboy ledgends in our own time!  What a fun game, and a great excuse to use our loudest yahoos! (giggle!)

Everyday we get just a little bit closer to the Stampede in July, and everytime someone says so, I get butterflies of excitment!  Oh boy… I might need to go to another Roughnecks game to shout again!! :o)
