February was quite the month. We were all very saddend by the unexpected passing of our friend and fellow past royalty Teri Murray. She was truly an amazing person and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Our official royal duties in February included a visit to an elementary school where we read to the grade one and three classes, and practiced some barrel racing – the participaction kind – without horses. On Friday we are attending the Tim Horton Brier at the Saddledome. Maybe I will get to throw a few rocks – after all I did win a few ribbons at our 4-H competition in years past. For sure Tara, Kateri, Nikkole and I will be looking forward to the yummy pancake breakfast on Saturday morning.
